Day 1 Arrival in Bergen

Arrival at Bergen airport, transfer (not included) to the city center. Bergen, known as "the gateway to the fjords", is situated on the west coast at the end of a number of fjords. Bergen, Norway's second-largest city and the only one in the world to be surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords.

Day 2: Bergen – Flåm

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you’ll take the scenic boat road that take you from the open waters of Bergen to the narrow Sognefjord to Flåm. This trip is a beautiful way to discover the fjords for the first time. Take in the immensity of the landscapes that surround you. You will then arrive in Flåm, small and charming town in the fjord.

Day 3: Flåm

Breakfast at the hotel. On that day, you will have the opportunity to do a round trip on one of the most beautiful railroad in the world, the Flåmsbana. The trip runs along the 900-metre-high steep mountain walls, offering breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape and its many waterfalls, all the way to the Sognefjord. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Flåm – Bergen

Breakfast at the hotel. You will make your way back to Bergen but with a different road this time! Start by exploring the Nærøfjord part of the UNESCO heritage on boat. Once you arrive in Gudvangen, you will hope on a bus that will take you to Voss where you will catch a train back to Bergen. The entire trip is breathtaking.

Day 5: Bergen

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to discover the city of Bergen. Highlights include the Hanseatic port of Bryggen, the Fløibanen funicular railway, Troldhaugen, the fish and flower market, the Bergen Aquarium and Gamle Bergen (open-air museum of old Bergen). A city with a long history, Bergen was for many years part of the Hanseatic League of merchants.
