Day 1 - Arrival in Ivalo - Inari Hotel

Arrival at Ivalo airport and group transfer to Wilderness Hotel Inari. Located above the Arctic Circle, Ivalo's untamed surroundings provide virtually limitless opportunities for nature exploration and outdoor sports. On arrival, you will be provided with cold-weather clothing.

Day 2 - Husky Safari

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for your husky safari. You will learn how to manoeuvre your sledge and the pack of dogs in your charge. Huskies understand directions and are very receptive. You will then be able to explore the snowy trails and even cross the frozen lake with your dog team.

Day 3 - Meet the reindeer

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on an adventure to meet the reindeer and their herders while immersing yourself in Sami culture and history. Depart from the hotel and head to the reindeer farm, where the herder will warmly welcome you and invite you into the reindeer paddock. He will share insights about Sami culture, his life, and his daily routine as a reindeer herder. You will then have the chance to feed the reindeer, who will eat directly from your hands.

Day 4 - Northern Lights excursion

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. In the evening, you will take part in a Northern Lights excursion. Hot drinks will be served during this excursion.

Day 5 - Ice fishing (lunch included)

Breakfast at the hotel. This day will be devoted to ice fishing. In a sledge pulled by a snowmobile, the guide will take you to the lake and find the best place to fish. If you're lucky, you'll even get fresh fish for lunch! Lunch will take place around a wood fire (hot drinks included). It is possible to have the last night in a Aurora Cabin, please contact us for it.

Day 6 - Inari hotel - Departure from Ivalo
