Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bergen
Arrival in Bergen according to individual travel plans. Bergen, known as "the gateway to the fjords", is situated on the west coast at the end of a number of fjords. Highlights include the Hanseatic port of Bryggen, Troldhaugen, the fish and flower market, the Bergen Aquarium and Gamle Bergen (open-air museum of old Bergen).

Day 2: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. A city with a long history, Bergen was for many years part of the Hanseatic League of merchants. Today, go up and explore the city from above with the funicular Fløibanen (ticket included) which will take you up to 320m above sea level and admire the snowy landscapes.

Day 3: Bergen to Flåm
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you’ll embark on your first part of your Norway in a Nutshell trip. You’ll start with a train ride from Bergen to Voss, followed by a bus ride from Voss to Gudvangen where a boat will await and take you through the beautiful Nærøyfjord and finally to Flåm, where you will spend the next two days and celebrate the upcoming year!

Day 4: Flåm
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we invite you to join your guide for and put on your snowshoe for a 2-hour hike on the heights of the Aurlandsfjord. The views are breath-taking! After that, in the evening, you’ll enjoy the New Year’s Eve dinner at your hotel before embarking on a cruise that will have the best views of the fireworks, the perfect way to welcome 2026!

Day 5: Flåm to Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you’ll take the last strech of your Norway in a Nutshell trip. First, it’s the Flåmsbana, a 20 km panoramic train ride (unaccompanied) through the fjords and mountains. Change at Myrdal, 866 m above sea level, for the rest of your journey to Oslo. The train climbs to its highest point at Finse at 1222 m. From your seat you can see glaciers, arctic plateaus and, on the way back down to Oslo, large forests interspersed with lakes. This train between Bergen and Oslo is one of the most beautiful lines in the world.

Day 6: Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is at leisure to explore the Norwegian capital, with its lively café scene and beautiful views over the Oslofjord. This day will be entirely at your disposal to discover the city's must-see places such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the Munch Museum and the Opera House.

Day 7: Departure from Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. According to your schedule, individual transfer (not included) to the airport.
