Day 1 : Arrival in Bergen – Gateway to the Fjords

Your Norwegian adventure begins in Bergen, one of Norway’s most charming cities and a natural gateway to the fjords. Spend two nights at a centrally located hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the city, with breakfast included.

Note: To get from the airport to the city centre or vice versa, we recommend that you use low CO2 emission transport such as private electric cars, local public transport, the airport shuttles “Flybussen” (bus).

Day 2: Bergen

Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure. As an option, we recommend that you book a 3-hour guided walking tour of Bergen with an English-speaking guide. Bergen offers many attractions, including a visit to the Hanseatic port of Bryggen, the Fløibanen funicular, Troldhaugen, the fish and flower market, the Bergen aquarium and Gamle Bergen (the open-air museum of old Bergen).

Day 3 : Bergen – Måløy

Breakfast at your hotel. The journey continues by boat. Depart Bergen in the afternoon and cruise north along Norway’s beautiful coastline to Måløy, arriving in the evening. This scenic voyage offers a relaxing transition from city to countryside as the landscape gradually changes to rugged coastline and open sea.

Day 4 : Måløy - Ålesund

After breakfast, board the bus from Måløy to Nordfjordeid, enjoying beautiful views of mountains, fjords, valleys, and coastal landscapes along the way. Take a few hours to discover Nordfjordeid, a charming hidden gem surrounded by spectacular nature, before continuing by bus to Ålesund.

Day 5: Fjord Cruise to Geiranger

Breakfast at the hotel. Today brings one of the highlights of the journey: a spectacular fjord cruise from Ålesund to Geiranger and back. Travel approximately through some of Norway’s most dramatic scenery, passing through three distinctive fjords on the way. Towering mountains, cascading waterfalls, peaceful waters, and small settlements create an ever-changing panorama throughout the day. Arrive in Geiranger, one of Norway’s most famous fjord villages, where you will have time to enjoy the scenery before returning to Ålesund in the afternoon.

Day 6 – Åndalsnes : the Golden Train & Cable-car roundtrip

Breakfast at the hotel. The next morning, travel by bus from Ålesund to Åndalsnes, a spectacular mountain destination often described as one of Norway’s great outdoor gateways. Here, enjoy the Golden Train and cable car roundtrip before or after, combining a scenic railway experience with magnificent mountain views. The journey showcases the dramatic landscape surrounding Åndalsnes, where steep mountains, deep valleys, and rushing rivers create an unforgettable setting.

Day 7: Scenic Railway Journey to Oslo

Breakfast at your hotel. Your day begins with one of Norway’s most scenic railway experiences. Travel from Åndalsnes to Dombås on the famous Rauma Railway. As the train winds its way through spectacular mountain scenery, you can enhance the journey with a free multilingual audio guide available through the Voice of Norway app. The commentary provides interesting stories and information about landmarks along the route, including the Rauma River, mountains, bridges, wartime history, and lesser-known places that you might otherwise miss. From Dombås, continue by train to Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital city. Arrive in Oslo in the afternoon and enjoy museums, parks, and lively city life, it offers plenty to discover at your own pace.

Day 8: Oslo

Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure. As an option, we recommend that you book a 3-hour guided walking tour of Oslo with an English-speaking guide. We suggest you visit Vigeland Park, the largest sculpture park in the world to feature the works of a single artist. This unique sculpture park is the life's work of Gustav Vigeland, with over 200 sculptures on display. Also not to be missed: the city centre with the Parliament, the Royal Palace, the famous Aker Brygge near the Akershus citadel, and the modern district with its restaurants, numerous shops, luxury flats and marina.

Day 9: Departure from Oslo

Breakfast at your hotel. Departure from the hotel to the airport (transfer not included) according to your flight itinerary.
