Described as Europe’s last wilderness, Swedish Lapland lies in the northernmost part of the country. Its varied landscape is made up of mountains, lakes, deep forests and 1,300 islands in the Luleå archipelago.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Luleå – Brändön Lodge
Arrival in Luleå according to your own itinerary. Transfer to your accommodation. This charming accommodation overlooks the frozen sea and the islands of the Luleå archipelago. This archipelago has a total of 1300 islands, and only 100 inhabitants! The main building is made up of logs and includes dining rooms as well as a lounge and relaxation area. Around it you’ll find 15 small cabins, each with a sea view.

Day 2: Dogsledding
Breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will teach you how to drive your own sled. The huskies understand instructions and are very receptive. Get ready to hit the snowy trails and cross a frozen lake with your team of huskies.

Day 3: Luleå – Harads – Arctic Bath
Breakfast at Brandon Lodge. Transfer to the Arctic Bath Hotel. Located just outside of the small village of Harads, this hotel is a peaceful retreat where luxury meets nature. The water cabins are located on the river Lule. They have a breathtaking view of the surroundings. While at Arctic Bath, enjoy an afternoon in the spa (included in the package) where you can enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi, relax in the sauna or take a cold plunge! You will then enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.

Day 4: Arctic Bath – Tree Hotel
Breakfast at Arctic Bath Hotel. Transfer to the Tree Hotel. Hidden in the dense forest, the Tree Hotel is a little jewel of architecture and design offering spectacular views of the river and surrounding nature. Built according to a purely environmental concept, the rooms are suspended in the air or on the ground, in perfect symbiosis with nature. The Tree Hotel rooms are equipped with large beds and modern furniture. All rooms have views of the forest and the surrounding countryside. Each room has a toilet and a sink. Showers are located in the adjacent building.

Day 5: Tree Hotel – Sami experience (Lunch included)
Breakfast at Brittas Pensionat (at the Tree Hotel reception). After, you will meet Anna, a young Sami woman. Anna and her family herd reindeer, and their way of life has remained very traditional. The Sami way of life holds no secrets for Anna, and she loves to share her stories. Inside the lavvu (a traditional tent), a place around the fireplace awaits you, where Anna shares the secrets of Sami traditions and traditional songs. Then it’s time to enjoy a meal prepared by the fire using local ingredients. The camp is located just outside Jokkmokk, close to the Arctic Circle.

Day 6: Departure from Sweden
Breakfast at Brittas Pensionat (at the Tree Hotel reception). Transfer from the Tree Hotel to Luleå Airport according to your own itinerary.
