As you travel by train and boat, you'll have the opportunity to admire and enjoy the spectacular Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. You'll also have the chance to explore Norway's second biggest citiy, Bergen.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bergen
Arrival in Bergen according to your itinerary. Bergen is a picturesque coastal city located in western Norway, surrounded by mountains and fjords, including the famous Sognefjord. Known as the "Gateway to the Fjords," it boasts colorful wooden houses in the historic Bryggen district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city has a vibrant cultural scene, a bustling fish market, and offers easy access to stunning natural landscapes, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and tourists.

Day 2: Cruise on the Sognefjord (Bergen – Balestrand)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning by express boat, heading north along the west coast of Norway. After a few hours, the journey continues along the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world, to Balestrand.

Day 3 Cruise from Balestrand – Flåm
Breakfast at the hotel. The boat journey from Balestrand to Flåm is one of the most scenic experiences in Norway, taking you deep into the heart of the fjord landscape. You're surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and small farms. The route passes through narrow fjord arms, including the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord. The journey culminates in Flåm, known for its railway, one of the most beautiful in the world. If you wish to add a train journey to this booking, please contact us.

Day 4 Nærøyfjord cruise, bus and train to Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. From Flåm, continue by boat on the Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. The Nærøyfjord is the narrowest fjord in Europe and was recently added to UNESCO's World Heritage List. From Gudvangen, the journey continues by bus through the Nærøyfjord valley before heading up the Stalheimskleiva, with its 13 hairpin bends (only open in summer). The last part of the journey will be by train, from Voss to Bergen, Norway's second-largest city and the only one in the world to be surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords.

Day 5 : Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Bergen offers many attractions, including a visit to the Hanseatic port of Bryggen, the Fløibanen funicular, Troldhaugen, the fish and flower market, the Bergen aquarium and Gamle Bergen (the open-air museum of old Bergen).

Day 6: Departure from Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel to the airport (transfer not included) according to your flight itinerary.
