Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lofoten – Svolvær
Arrival in Svolvær and transfer (not included) to your rorbu. The red rorbu is the typical and iconic Lofoten accommodation (fisherman’s cabin). Svolvær is nicely located between mountains and sea and is the largest town in the Lofoten islands. It is characterized by quay promenades, fisherman’s cabins, fish farms, fishing boats and the beautiful nature.

Day 2: Snowshoe trekking
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the splendid Lofoten islands on a snowshoe hike. You will get to experience the nature and winter light of Lofoten with a local guide. Snowshoeing is an easy way to get close to nature without too much hassle

Day 3: Sea eagle safari / Trollfjord by zodiac and Northern Lights chase
Breakfast at the hotel. Go on an unforgettable adventure and explore the magnificent archipelago by zodiac. Along the route, the boat makes several stops at large colonies of magnificent sea eagles, offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife observation and photography. Then, you will head into majestic Trollfjord, one of the country’s narrowest fjords and experience Norway's dramatic natural beauty from an open boat, bringing you into close contact with the elements.
In the evening, you’ll go hunting for the Northern Lights and, if you’re lucky, you may just see one of the most beautiful phenomena in the world. Each apparition of the Northern Lights is unique and lights up the sky like a flickering curtain or swirling smoke. Their colours are a striking green, often with a touch of pink along the edges.

Day 4: Excursion to Southern Lofoten by minivan
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will embark in a minivan on an unforgettable adventure through the southern area of Lofoten Islands and discover the beauty of picturesque fishing villages, stunning beaches and breathtaking views. A glimpse of the itinerary includes Ramberg beach, Hamnøy, Sakrisøy and Reine. After spending the whole day being mesmerized by Lofoten’s wonders, you will get back to your rorbu for your last night in the islands.

Day 5: Departure from Norway
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure and transfer (not included) to the airport.

Stockfish (Tørrfisk) is one of Lofoten’s most iconic and historic foods, a centuries-old tradition that has shaped the region’s culture and economy. It is air-dried Arctic cod, preserved naturally by the cold, salty winds of Lofoten during winter. You can try stockfish in several delicious ways in local restaurants.
