Enjoy a change of scenery just 2 hours from Paris. We’re offering you a holiday in the heart of the Norwegian winter, exploring Bergen and Oslo, the fjords and the mountains in 6 days. We’ve planned a tasting of local produce, visits to towns and a superb snowshoe hike on the heights of Aurlandfjord.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bergen
Arrival at Bergen airport. Individual transfer (not included)* to the city centre. Free time and first discovery of this charming city, rich in history and surrounded by 7 mountains.
Accommodation in Bergen 3*.
Day 2: Discovery of Bergen
Breakfast at your hotel. Free day to discover the picturesque capital of the fjords. We recommend visiting the fish market, the flower market, the Christmas market, the famous Hanseatic Quarter and the Fløibanen funicular, which will take you up to 320m above sea level. For getting around, we recommend the Bergen Card (optional, not included).
Accommodation in Bergen 3*.
Day 3: Bergen – Flåm (train, bus, boat)
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, departure to Voss by train (unaccompanied), followed by a bus to Gudvangen. This small village is located at the end of one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords, Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will then take a ferry (approx. 2 hours) to arrive in Flåm. Check in at the hotel, then relax before enjoying your Viking Plank dinner at the Ægir microbrewery.

Day 4: Snowshoe hike & Flåm – Myrdal – Oslo (train)
Breakfast at your hotel. Get your snowshoes for a 2-hour hike on the heights of the Aurlandsfjord. The views are breath-taking! After your return, you’ll take the Flåmsbana, a 20 km panoramic train ride (unaccompanied) through the fjords and mountains. Change at Myrdal, 866 m above sea level, for the rest of your journey to Oslo. The train climbs to its highest point at Finse at 1222 m. From your seat you can see glaciers, arctic plateaus and, on the way back down to Oslo, large forests interspersed with lakes. This train between Bergen and Oslo is one of the most beautiful lines in the world.
Accommodation in Oslo 3*.
Day 5: Oslo – Silent Fjord Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, take an electric boat cruise on the Oslofjord. You’ll pass the Aker fortress, which dates back over 1000 years ago. From there, you’ll take a short trip to the idyllic islands dotted around the fjord, home to mysteries and stories as well as charming Norwegian cabins. Throughout the tour, guides will share interesting stories about the city of Oslo and its surroundings. Afternoon at your leisure. We recommend visiting the Munchmuseet, Nasjonalmuseet, Vigelandsmuseet, Kon Kon-Tiki Museum or Fram Museum.

After warming up in the sauna, taking a quick dip in the crisp, icy fjord water will give you a rush of energy, followed by a sense of deep relaxation. It’s a great way to reconnect with nature, embrace the elements, and enjoy the stunning scenery around you.
