Wonders of Swedish Lapland

Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm

Arrival at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. You will be welcomed by our tour leader before heading to the city center with a private bus. Meet a local city guide (language dependend on the client) for a 3-hour tour of the city. The program includes a walking tour of the old town (Gamla Stan), the exterior of the Royal Palace and City Hall, a visit to the Vasa Museum, as well as a view of the city's main monuments and neighborhoods. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Stockholm - Kiruna (with flight)

Scandinavian breakfast. Transfer to Stockholm airport for a flight to Kiruna (flight not included - approximately 1.5 hours). Lunch on your own. Upon arrival in lapland, a bus will take you on a private tour of Kiruna mine (approximately 3 hours): descend 540 meters underground to discover the development and impact of this iron mine on the city. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Day 3: Kiruna

Scandinavian breakfast. Coach transfer to the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, a hotel built entirely out of ice and featuring numerous sculptures. Upon arrival, you will go on a dog sledding excursion (approx. 3 hours) to discover the life of a musher in the sublime natural surroundings of Swedish Lapland. End of the tour back in Jukkasjärvi, time for lunch, and then a tour of the hotel to learn more about this fascinating construction. Return to Kiruna and dinner at the hotel. In the evening, departure for an excursion in search of the Northern Lights. Your guide will teach you how to take the best possible photos of the magnificient sky! Return to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Day 4: Kiruna - Luleå

Scandinavian breakfast. Departure by private bus through the Swedish forests, heading for Luleå. Enjoy the landscapes of Lapland, with its frozen lakes and snow-covered hills. Lunch on the way. Arrival in Luleå, check-in at the hotel and free time in the city. After dinner at the hotel, departure for a snowmobile hunt for the Northern Lights. This activity lasts approximately 3 hours and includes warm clothing, a hot drink and biscuits.

Day 5: Luleå

Scandinavian breakfast. In the morning, depart for a guided snowshoe hike! This 2-hour excursion will take you in the surrounding nature where you will be amazed by the beautiful landscapes. If you're lucky, you can even catch sight of some wildlife. Your guide will explain to your some traditions and local life information. Remember to dress warmly! An outdoor lunch is included by the fire, with hot drink and biscuits. Back in the city and rest of the afternoon free. At the end of the day, you can enjoy your hotel's spa. Warm up and relax after your outdoor morning.

Day 6: Luleå

Scandinavian breakfast. This morning, you will enjoy some ice fishing! The locals love this activity out in the fresh air. Your guide will teach you the right way to catch fishes and even some recipes to cook it. You also need to dress up warmly that day. Lunch in the city center and free time in the afternoon. In the evening, you will go out of the city with a private transfer to enjoy a traditional dinner by the fire, and then enjoy the Aurora Spa: a beautiful jacuzzi and sauna, with ice bath, while you can keep an eye out for the sky to light up. Back to the hotel later in the evening.

Day 7: Departure from Luleå

Scandinavian breakfast. Transfer to Luleå airport and help with formalities.
